Kiko_Logo.jpg  Kiko Goats

Kikos are a meat goat native to New Zealand; they were brought to the U.S. in the early 1990’s by the Goatex Group.  The name Kiko means “meat” in the Maori language.  Check out this video titled: “The Kiko Advantage”.  This 4 minute video was produced by the American Kiko Goat Association (AKGA) to promote the breed.   We purchased our breeding stock from Highland Meadows Farm in Hinesburg, Vt. (three does in 2011 and one buck in 2012).

Our first kids arrived in late June and early July 2012!

We are AKGA members, our Herd Prefix is KNR and our Herd ID # is 3456.
